Annie has worked in the motor sports trade since the mid-1970s (from diapers of course), serving as the initial editor of the IMSA Arrow Newsletter. Along the way she’s been a timer/scorer, writer, photographer and public relations liaison officer.
She’s always had an interest in photography, but made the art a more integral part of her professional life following the passing of her life partner — master photographer Ron Hussey — who in the early 1990s was among the first to show that digital imaging could work in motor sports.
Born with a mutant gene that allows her to seamlessly integrate her passion for the world of auto racing with her love of art, music, fashion and fine (red) wines, Annie lives in Long Beach, California with her certified hearing dog, Leah.
Annie is currently a staff member and photojournalist contributor at High Power Media (publishers of Race Engine Technology, 24 Hour Race Technology, F1 Race Technology, RET-Monitor, Cup Race Technology and Drag Race Technology).
